J’ai suivi l’âpre chemin de l’abstraction par intuition et improvisation. Après un certain temps, des symboles sont apparus sur les tableaux. Dans l’un, l’alpha de l’alphabet grec, dans l’autre le 0 et le 1 du système binaire de numérotation. Mon esprit s’est calmé car je connais et j’aime ces symboles. Ils évoquent mes études classiques et mon amour des mathématiques. J’ai terminé les tableaux en pensant au tumulte numérique contemporain.

I followed the harsh path of abstraction by intuition and improvisation. Af some point, symbols emerged: the greek letter alpha in one painting and the 0,1 of the binary numbers in the other. My mind got calmer because I know and I like these symbols. They evoke my classical studies and my love of mathematics. I terminated the paintings thinking about the contemporary digital tumult.
