Vers 7 heures hier matin, je me suis intallé avec mon aquarelle sur la table, près du lac, et j’ai peint cette scène. La rosée était abondante et une brume s’échappait du lac. Lorsque le soleil apparut au-dessus de la colline, cette brume explosa et m’aveugla.

At 7 o’clock yesterday morning, I set up my watercolors on the table near the lake, and I painted this scene. The dew was abundant, and a mist was evading the lake. When the sun appeared over the hill, this mist exploded and blinded me.
