J’ai présenté ce tableau, Visage sur fond vert, dans sa version initiale en décembre 2010, à l’exposition que mon groupe , Espace 9, a organisé aux Ateliers du Capitol à Montréal. Il a suscité un certain intérêt. Un des commentaires qui m’a frappé est que «cet homme ne se révèle pas». Ne l’ayant pas vendu, je l’ai retravaillé ce printemps, en affirmant ses traits et le décor forestier qui l’entoure. Je l’expose en juin 2011 à la 27ième Exposition annuelle de l’Atelier du geste (http://atelierdugeste.qc.ca) .

I have exhibited the initial version of Visage sur fond vert (Face on a green backgrtound), in December 2010, at the Exhibit that the group of painters, Espace 9, has organized in Montreal, at Atelier du Capitol. One of the comments that touched me was that «this man does not reveal himself». Since I did not sell it, I reworked it this spring, making the face of this personna more present and elaborating the forest behind him. I will exhibit it again at the 27th Annual Exhibition of
