C’est à cette latitude que se trouvent les monts Groulx (Uapishka). Je me s’y suis rendu à la fin septembre 2012. J’ai pris le sentier et gravi le Mont Jauffret. J’y passai la nuit sous la tente. L’émerveillement et la peur m’habitaient. Peur de l’ours. Au retour, j’ai peint cette toile.

It is at this latitude that the Groulx (Uapishka) mountains stand. I was there at the end of September 2012. I hiked to the top of Mount Jauffret. I spent the night under a tent. I was astonished by the beauty and at the same time I was afraid. Afraid of the black bear. Back in my studio, I painted this picture.
