J’ai débuté ce tableau avec l’idée d’un paysage, d’un paysage intemporel et sans attache géographique. Je l’ai terminé en dessinant des cabanes comme signes d’une présence humaine.

En faisant une marche rapide le long de la rivière, je  ne vois personne et je me dis que chacun est dans son monde intérieur.

I started this painting with the idea of a landscape, but  a landscape with no actual connexion to time or geography. At the end I drew the  cabins as signs of a human presence.

Walking at a fast pace along the river, I see nobody, and I say to myself that everyone is in its inner world.
